Five signs your school has outgrown spreadsheets

Most schools start with a spreadsheet for attendance, another for fees, and a register for enrollment. It works — until it doesn't.

The most common breaking point is multi-branch coordination: once a second branch opens, keeping fee structures, class lists, and attendance policies in sync across separate files becomes a full-time job for someone.

The second is parent communication. A daily diary entry copied into a WhatsApp group doesn't scale past a few hundred students, and there's no record once the message scrolls away.

The third is year-end promotion. Manually re-entering every student into the next class, carrying forward the right history, and archiving the completed year is exactly the kind of repetitive, error-prone work software should be doing instead.
